An exercise for an advanced typography class at the School of Visual Concepts (Seattle), under the guidance of type designer and artist Juliet Shen. Students were instructed to find a typeface or font family and create a mock specimen book for it.
Egizio was designed by Aldo Novarese in Turin, Italy in 1955, during a time of prosperity and optimism for that country, which I attempt to reflect in the design of the book.
